This article mainly studies the overall structure of the spool vacuum pump and the structure of the main components, and also draws some new conclusions and basis including a new product structure, in order to improve product balance, reduce vibration and noise, and Eliminate fuel injection, and also improve the safety and reliability of the pump during operation and many other factors. Over the years, we have carried out many new explorations, attempts and researches on the overall structural type and main component structure of the spool valve. It has achieved good results and has certain practical value and has been extended to the relevant pumps.
The structure of the slide valve pump is available in both vertical and horizontal versions. The vertical structure is rarely used in the newly designed pump, but it also has its own characteristics: the impact force of the pump in the forward (back) is relatively small, and most of the impact force is in the upper and lower directions. The front and rear sloshing of the pump during operation is small. With this feature, vibration damping and vibration isolation can be effectively achieved by configuring a suitable damper or damping pad.
We have tested the vibration of the H-8A slide valve pump, and the vibration test data also fully illustrates this point. In combination with the above situation, it is envisaged that the motor and the oil separator are respectively disposed on the front and rear sides of the pump, designed as a backpack type, reducing the center of gravity of the pump, and adding a vibration damping pad to the bottom of the pump, which may become a vertical slide valve pump. The general description of the horizontal structure is that it has a low center of gravity and a small vibration, which is actually not the case. At present, the most common structural form is to install a fuel tank on the horizontal pump body (with oil separator inside), and then install the motor on the fuel tank (Fig. 1), so that the footprint is small, but its overall center of gravity is improved. Therefore, it is very disadvantageous for the vibration of the pump.

The ultra-low overall structural type greatly reduces the center of gravity of the pump and is very beneficial for reducing vibration, as shown in Figure 2. Such a structure can also make the position of the inlet of the pump transfer from the side to the upper part of the pump body, which reduces the splash of oil at the pump inlet and facilitates the setting of the intake line; this structure can also expose the cover plate of the pump exhaust valve. It is beneficial to the installation and overhaul of the exhaust valve; the suspended oil separator allows us to have sufficient space, which is conducive to the research and improvement of the oil and gas separation structure, saving energy, reducing and eliminating fuel injection, and completely eliminating oil smoke and avoiding environmental pollution. It is concluded that the improved slide valve pump has excellent and reliable working performance, and the high-efficiency oil and gas separation device can work continuously under high pressure (low vacuum) state, with low noise, low vibration and low consumption design, which is very beneficial to the fuel tank.
